Pavilion Marina and Sports Club |

Design
The Sports Club is a two-storey building
with a floor area of 2500 sq. m and is situated
on the Marina breakwater between the bay
and tennis courts. The Centre is curved
in plan and is built around a double height
entrance foyer space. The foyer overlooks
the Marina and Resort beaches.
Instruction
by fully qualified staff is available in
many of the activities, including tennis,
squash and water sports.
Facilities
The
1500 sq. m ground floor includes:
· Three squash courts.
· 'Waterfront' café, which
opens out onto the double height foyer.
· Changing rooms with some 180
lockers on each side.
· A sports and leisure retail outlet.
· The Pavilion Dive Centre (PADI
5 star Golden Palm) offering a full range
of courses, daily dive trips and a retail
outlet. It is adjacent to the sports club,
near the marina slipway and mooring pontoons.
The
upper floor contains the following:

The gymnasium features 70 pieces of nautilus
equipment, extensive cardiovascular area
and a separate free weights section. The
gym occupies 400 square metres and has
full height glazing, giving fantastic
views over the Resort and Marina. Personal
training programmes are also available
with our qualified instructors.
· The Health Suite incorporates
two saunas, three hot tubs, steam room,
Jacuzzi, plunge pool and two massage rooms.
Treatments offered include aromatherapy,
reflexology, shiatsu and facials.
· The Group Fitness Room covering
170 sq. m. fully equipped with ballet
rails and mirrors. Fitness classes are
regularly held including Yoga, Karate
Classes, RPM, Body Pump and Body Combat.

External
Sports Facilities
Four Swimming Pools
·
The leisure pool (main pool) features
a walk in Jacuzzi, chilled plunge pool
and submerged airbeds amongst other features.
A swim-up pool bar is located at the shallow
end of the pool.
· The family pool is surfaced in
synthetic rubber material and the pool
has a walk in 'beach' effect at one end
and a rock wall incorporating a water
slide at the other end.
· Adjacent to the family pool is
a shallow children's pool, ideally located
right next door to Sinbad's Children's
Club. It is also rubber surfaced, shaded
and contains water play equipment.
· The fourth pool is a 25-metre
lap training pool overlooked by a seating
terrace on one side.
Other Outdoor Facilities include:

Seven floodlit competition standard
tennis courts, one of which is multipurpose
to include volleyball and basketball.
· A mini putting green and golf
driving nets.
· Three sandy beaches offering
beach butler service.
· A family adventure Playground,
consisting of raised walkways with a
variety of play features including swings,
slides, climbing structures, tunnels
and rope walkways. The equipment is
padded for user safety. This area is
closed during the summer months due
to the heat.
· Water sports on offer include
sailing, water skiing, parasailing,
snorkelling, wind surfing, scuba diving,
kayaking, boogie boarding, wake boarding
and banana boating.
Sinbad's
- The Children's Club
The
Children's Club has been designed as
a ship and is located next to the family
pool. The Children's Club offers a programme
of activities for ages 4-12 and is run
by a team of highly trained and qualified.
