All new Rooms provide multi pillowed beds with a turndown service, terry Bathrobes & Slippers. From some of the rooms and suites, our guests can marvel at dramatic views of the Acropolis and the changing of the guards. All Rooms are equipped with Cable Television, Voice-mail Service, high-speed Internet service, Mini Bar and In-room Safe. The Bathrooms have been meticulously re-furbished with luxurious marble and are equipped with deluxe amenities. Rooms and suites with connecting doors are available.
Room Types:
Deluxe Room - 159: The historic features typical of the Deluxe Rooms were meticulously restored during the Hotel’s renovation. The warm yellow and red colour scheme of the decor reflects elegance and charm. The average size of these Rooms 27 m² and offer a choice of king, queen, or twin beds. Rooms with connecting doors and with balconies are available. Guests will also enjoy views of the city and courtyard from the Deluxe Rooms.
Premium Deluxe Room - 89: The special features of the Premium Deluxe Rooms are the warm colours, the classic furnishing and the unique views towards Parliament and Lycabettos Hill. With an average of 33 m² and offers a choice of king sized or twin beds, these Rooms epitomise class and sophisticated style.
Grand Deluxe Room - 42: Furnished in a classical style, with antique oil paintings and a yellow color scheme, these rooms vary in size an average of 44 m2 and layout, typical of the hotel’s historic character and unique heritage. The exceptional views of Constitution Square, the Acropolis or Lycabettos Hill, provide the finishing touch. There is a choice of king-size, or twin, beds in this accommodation.
Deluxe Suite - 16: These Suites graciously decorated in classical style in cream tones and earth colours, comprise of one bedroom and a sitting room. They have an average size 50 m² and are equipped with a luxurious Bathroom. This type of Suite is the ideal place to become your hideaway for a day, a week or a year. Space to live in and to experience the charm of a grand hotel blended with the exquisiteness of a private home.
One-Bedroom Deluxe Suite -16: Indulge your taste for the finer things in life in these luxurious Suites distinguished by their generous space of 80 m² and classical style, decorated in warm earth colours. The sleeping quarters of the Suite are secluded from the living and working areas ensuring privacy during informal meetings or while entertaining. The Bathroom offers ultimate in luxury with its bathtub, steam shower and bathroom TV. Most of these Suites offer views of the Acropolis and Constitution Square. There is a choice of king size or twin beds.
Grand Deluxe Suite - 3: The two-bedroom corner Suites with luxurious Bathrooms offer magnificent views of the Parthenon as well as the House of Parliament, the changing of the guard and the National Gardens. With a large, corner Living Room and luxurious amenities covering a total of 90 m², these Suites combine the tradition of a noble past with the requirements of contemporary travellers.
The Presidential Suite - 1: The Presidential Suite is uniquely designed, with columns and arched ceilings adding to the charm of this spacious 200 m² luxury Suite. A large, corner Living Room overlooks Parliament, the Acropolis and Constitution Square. Panel mouldings and the oval shaped ceiling details create a classical touch. A private entrance foyer leads to the Living Room and dining area. The Suite has a large Dining Room, seating 12 persons, an airy Master Bedroom with a two-sided fireplace and separate Sitting area with sofa and comfortable chairs. Additional features include the luxurious Bathroom with separate deep jet tub, TV, steam bath, shower and walk-in closets.
The Royal Suite - 1: The Royal Suite of the Grande Bretagne offers 400 m² of elegance, furnished with antiques and original artwork to create an unparalleled atmosphere of comfort and beauty. Located on the 5th floor of the Hotel, the Royal Suite offers a panoramic view of the city including Constitution Square, the Parthenon, Parliament, the changing of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and Lycabettos Hill. Created to offer the ultimate in luxury hotel living, the Royal Suite includes a triple Living Room with fireplace, two formal Sitting areas, a palatial Dining Room with seating for 16 persons, a Media Room with state-of-the-art electronics. Residents of the Royal Suite can enjoy a variety of 300 different labels from its private wine cellar. The Master Bedroom, a palatial corner Suite with several seating areas, has a Fireplace, walk-in closets, dressing room, a luxuriously spacious Bathroom equipped with a TV, glass enclosed Shower and a separate jet tub, as well as a fully equipped Gym with Sauna and steam Shower. The Royal Suite is connected to two Grand Deluxe Suites.
